1. What we collect
We only collect what you give us:
- contact details — your name, company, email and phone number — when you submit an enquiry;
- project information you include in an RFQ: location, timeline, quantities, notes and any files you attach;
- basic technical logs (browser type, pages visited) used to keep the site running and improve it.
We do not require an account, and browsing the catalogue never asks for personal information.
2. How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, and send you the datasheets and compliance documents relevant to the products you asked about. We will not add you to a marketing list without your explicit consent.
3. What stays in your browser
Two conveniences are stored locally on your device, not on our servers:
- your product shortlist, which expires 30 days after you last change it;
- an unsent enquiry draft, so you can leave and finish the form later.
Neither leaves your device until you submit an enquiry, and clearing your browser data removes both.
4. Cookies & analytics
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. The only storage the site uses is the functional, on-device storage described above.
5. When we share
To price and fulfil your enquiry we may share relevant details with the manufacturing partners, freight forwarders and compliance certifiers involved in your order — and only what they need for that purpose. We never sell your information.
6. Retention & security
Enquiry records are kept while your enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case a project comes back to life. Access is restricted to the OLCO team members working on your enquiry.
7. Your rights & contact
You can ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
